I live in Wisconsin, where we have had three substantial snowfalls already this year - in fact, we have already received the most snow in recorded history thus far for this time of year.
What that has meant for many parents (like myself...) is that we have found ourselves a bit under prepared for the weather. All three of my kids needed new winter coats, snow pants, and boots this year. It always seems to happen that way...but, the good news is that, while I was scouring online sites to grab boots for my older two (our local stores were of course out of their sizes already!), I happened to start glancing at women’s snow boots since I *may* enjoy shoes of any kind.
Lo and behold, I came across the jackpot of winter boots on Amazon. Plaid ✔️ Faux fur ✔️ Fashionable ✔️ Easy to slip on and off ✔️ Reasonably priced ✔️ Great reviews ✔️
Mind you, I was a little skeptical when I came across these given that the price was only $25.99 at that time - yes, you heard that right - $25.99. This is less than I paid for boots for ANY of my children this year, but I figured I would give it a go since these particular boots came with a free return policy.
A day later, I had my Plaid GlobalWIN Boots in hand and was able to take them for their first test run since we had another few inches of snow show up. I was honestly blown away - the grippers on the bottom are amazing and provide great traction in snow and ice, the boots keep my feet toasty warm, they are water proof and keep my feet dry while shoveling or playing in the snow with my littles, I can easily slip my feet in, and they are just darn cute. They remind me of my beloved Sperry Duck Boots, yet I find these to be much better for winter than my Sperry version (which costs at least three times the price, and do better in rain than snow in my opinion...)
It appears that I am not the only one who finds these boots to be an incredible value since sizes and my particular color choice of red plaid are starting to sell out, but many other super fun plaid and animal print options are available (the price has increased slightly since I grabbed them because of their apparent newfound popularity, but worth every penny and then some!)
Grab them while you can - I promise you won’t regret it - THE perfect mix of functional and fabulous!
