Top Pick Tuesday - Easy Activities for Kids!

Happy Tuesday! Today in Top Pick Tuesday, I wanted to feature some of the tried and true activities that I have grabbed for my kids through the years to keep them entertained either on lazy Summer days or when we are traveling! All of the items that I am sharing are favorites of my three kids who range in age from 6-10. Each activity included in today's Top Picks is available for under $20, and will keep your kids happily entertained for hours on end!

1. The Everything Kids' Travel Activity Book: https://rstyle.me/cz-n/fjesi3cxg47

- This book has a little bit of everything (hence the title!), and it is perfect to take along on trips - or car rides in general - to keep kids entertained. It includes several kinds of games, drawing pages and instructions, trivia, and so much more. It's only $8.99 at Target and is so worth grabbing for any travel time coming up - it will keep kids very entertained and will spark a lot of creativity.

2. Chuckle & Roar Shape Makers Magnetic Foam Tangrams Game: https://rstyle.me/cz-n/fjequkcxg47

- I love this set, as it is such a great learning tool that my kids really enjoy! The shapes are magnetic and stick right to the container they come in, and it comes with 48 different challenges to solve using the shapes. Great for logic and deductive reasoning, on top of keeping kids busy!

3. FUNZBO Craft & Art Supply Kit: https://rstyle.me/cz-n/fjerg7cxg47

- I always keep a craft set on hand, and this set is our family's go to set (I buy a new set at least every few months since my kids use this so frequently)! It also happens to be Amazon's #1 selling set because it is affordable and includes everything you could think of for a fun crafting experience. My kids use ALL of the different items included, and I love how creative they get as they figure out ways to use each of the different supplies in the set.

4. Chuckle & Roar Scavenger Hunt Game: https://rstyle.me/cz-n/fjeq77cxg47

- A fun scavenger hunt set is a super easy way to keep kids occupied, and this is one of the best sets that I have come across. It's only $9.99 and comes highly rated! The set includes three different scavenger hunts - one for around the house, one for outdoors, and one for in the car. This is a fun way to involve the entire family, yet kids can also easily do this on their own as well!

5. Elmer’s Rainbow Glitter Glue Pen Set: https://rstyle.me/cz-n/fjerc2cxg47

- I'm not sure what it is about glitter glue, but my kids could happily play with it for hours on end! I came across this particular set when Covid first started, and we have subsequently gone through several sets since they enjoy it so much! It is only $11 for this set on Amazon, which is a steal since this is the best glitter glue I've come across, and you get 31 different colors in the set. Definitely worth having a set on hand any time you start hearing "I'm bored" from the kids in your life.

6. Chuckle & Roar Travel Easel: https://rstyle.me/cz-n/fjeq4fcxg47

- This highly rated set is a favorite of parents everywhere because it keeps kids so happy and occupied! Whether you are at home or on the go, this compact set includes both a chalkboard and a magnetic dry erase board that you can easily take anywhere. The easel comes with chalk, a dry erase marker, and 70 different magnets, so there are lots of ways for kids to be creative with this set!

7. pigipigi Scratch Paper Art for Kids: https://rstyle.me/cz-n/fjersncxg47

- In the last couple of years, scratch paper art seems to have become more popular, and this is our favorite set that we have found! Scratch off paper like this has a mesmerizing effect, as it is just so neat to see how it works. This set include 50 pieces of black scratch paper, 5 wooden stylus', and 4 stencils. Lots of different ways to be creative and have fun with this super affordable kit from Amazon!

8. Paint by Sticker Kids: Zoo Animals: https://rstyle.me/cz-n/fjerkdcxg47

- I have a special tradition with my kids where we have a Christmas in July day together each year with lots of fun Christmas activities. I get them each a couple of small gifts, and I started including one of these books for my kids a couple of years ago. I am a big fan of these, as they are essentially a paint by number BUT without the mess! There are several different themed books available for under $10 (as well as adult versions!), and the pictures are always great, plus they keep my kids super content and entertained no matter where we are when they work on these!
