This first dress is a must have for Fall! I have the chambray version of this dress and absolutely adore it, so I knew that this one needed to be next in my closet. First off, this is THE perfect everyday dress. Whether you are home with your kids doing the virtual school thing, or are at the office, or somewhere in between, this dress is so comfy, yet functional.
You can easily dress this comfy cutie up or down depending on what your day has in store.
The color is simply perfect for Fall as well! This color is SO pretty and looks great against a variety of skin tones. It is actually a pigment dyed Tencel twill that is incredibly soft and easy to wear - it definitely doesn't feel like a traditional shirt dress. The fabric is loose and breathable, yet flattering and chic - all around, a great transitional piece that you will have for years to come.
I have shared before that I consider my style to be "fancy casual", and this dress is just that. Top Pick #2: Women's Long Sleeve Babydoll Dress - A New Day™
You know that feeling when you are shopping in a store and see something from afar that instantly calls to you and draws you in?!? That was this dress for me when I was in Target about a month ago. It is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!
This dress is available in both Dark Pink and Rust, though the color that drew me in was the Dark Pink that is really the most beautiful shade of fuchsia. Not only is the color fabulous and will instantly make you feel so pretty the second you put this on, but the silhouette of the dress is incredibly feminine. The tie on the front can either be tied into a bow, or you can leave it down and loose for an open neckline. The fabric feels like silk on your skin, plus it is loose, flowy, and won't cling. The length of the dress is also fantastic as well - hits just above the knee.
This babydoll dress is selling crazy fast, so I would definitely recommend checking it out soon. I would go according to the size chart since I find it to be true to size. That said, if you have a D or larger bust, I would recommend sizing up one to accommodate your bust more comfortably! If you ever see me in person, you know that I am a big fan of a good tee dress - you can find me wearing one on a regular basis. There is stretch to the dress as well, so it is forgiving and won't be uncomfortable, especially if you are on the bustier side.
