Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope that your week is off to a lovely start!
Year after year, Old Navy brings their A-Game during the holiday season with some of the most festive apparel around. This year is no different, and I had to share a few of my favorites that I grabbed recently and absolutely ADORE. These pieces are all super comfy and just so darn joyful for the holiday season ahead - and even beyond that!
Top Pick #1: Cozy Fair Isle Long-Line Open-Front Sweater for Women
This is a sweater that I have been eyeing for weeks since it first made its way onto Old Navy's website, and I am SO glad that I finally grabbed it! I love fair isle and I love bright, beautiful colors - and this sweater incorporates both! It has such a fun, festive feel to it for the holiday season, though I will definitely be wearing this throughout the cold months ahead beyond the holidays.
Let's talk about how soft this cardigan is! It is an acrylic/nylon/spandex blend - the first time I touched this, I was literally shocked at how soft it is! It feels like a snuggly blanket that you want to wrap yourself in all day, and you can do just that with this sweater. Since it has a touch of spandex in it, it is also pretty stretchy. The length is great as well - I am 5'6" and it hits me just above the knees. I like that it covers the rear since it makes it super easy to pair with leggings, yet this is also SO pretty and can easily be worn to the office or for any slightly dressier occasion.
As I mentioned above, the colors are beautiful in this cardigan's print. There is a mixture of navy, red, pink, royal blue, white, and almost a neon green (though that color is pretty subtle). The first time that I had this on, my husband even complimented me on it, so I know that it is eye catching and will just make you happy to wear!
I recommend going true to size in this - I have this in Medium. You can find it here: https://rstyle.me/cz-n/eqnvc9cxg47.
Top Pick #2: Plaid Ruffle-Yoke Flannel Shirt for Women
I had to return something to Old Navy a few weeks back, and this top instantly caught my eye the minute that I walked in the door. I saw it from afar but knew that I had to have it for the holidays since it is so darn cute. Even if I just wear this at home this holiday season for festivities, it will make me happy and joyful because it is so festive!
I grabbed this in the Red/White Plaid pattern, which is a pretty famous Old Navy pattern. It just screams Christmas to me! The ruffle on this top gives it a super feminine vibe as well and I really feel like it is the finishing touch on this top. The combination of the plaid and ruffle makes for such a cute silhouette.
Let's talk fabrication. When you are wearing this top, you feel like you are wearing pajamas. It is made of 100% viscose rayon, and if you aren't super familiar with this type of fabric, it is made to be super breathable and easy to wear. It has almost a silky feel to it, and is definitely something that you will want to wear while spending all of the extra time at home this holiday season. I could also totally see dressing this up with a cute black pencil skirt or under a black or red blazer for a holiday party - whenever those happen again!
I did end up sizing up one in this top. It is more fitted through the bodice, and since I wanted it looser to comfortably accommodate my bust, I found that sizing up was my preferred fit in this top. You can find this adorable piece here: https://rstyle.me/cz-n/eqnvd5cxg47.
Top Pick #3: Patterned Plush-Knit Long-Sleeve Tee for Women
When a top has "plush" in its name, you know it is going to be good! This top is oh so comfy - you will literally want to live in this everyday! It is crazy comfy, yet also super festive - an all around win!
I am a sucker for all things buffalo plaid, and plaid in general, since it speaks to my "fancy casual" style, so I was drawn to this for the pattern originally. I LOVE the fit and style of this top, though. This top has a curved hemline and is long enough to easily pair with your favorite black leggings. Since it is long, if you are tall or you like putting a cute little tie in your tops, the length easily lends itself to both! The fit is relaxed as well, so it won't hug you where you may not want it to :)
This top definitely has a casual vibe, but it makes for a great layering piece since it is lighter weight and breathable. You could also style this is some fun ways - be it with leggings and sneakers, or jeans and booties, or a skirt and some black combat style boots.
I recommend going true to size in this, as I did, because of its loose and flowy fit. You can grab it here: https://rstyle.me/cz-n/eqnvbtcxg47.
If you happen to follow along with me on social media, I also shared some of my favorite festive masks from Old Navy earlier today. They added soft and flexible pulleys to their masks so you can easily adjust the sizing, plus they are super affordable at only $12 for a 5 pack.
