Top Pick Tuesday, featuring favorite Fall Flannels!

Happy Tuesday, friends! Today is my kid's first day of school - between that and the cooler weather that my area has been experiencing lately, it definitely has me in the Fall mindset officially. That said, I figured that it was time to feature some of my favorite new Fall Flannels in Top Pick Tuesday!

Top Pick #1: Old Navy Oversized Plaid Flannel Boyfriend Shirt for Women

Each and every year, Old Navy is my go to for plaid or flannel shirts. They come out with some fantastic designs each year, plus the quality is great and they will last you for years to come. This Fall, like usual, they did not disappoint.

When I saw the Burgundy Buffalo Plaid design in their Oversized Plaid Flannel Boyfriend Shirt, I knew that I needed it. You all know that I adore Buffalo Plaid - it is a staple in my wardrobe - so when I saw this particular print that screams Fall, I knew it needed to be in my closet. The burgundy is such a pretty, rich color, and it is a great pairing with the slightly off white color. There are lots of options for pairing with this top, as well as fun ways that you can accessorize this!

Since this has an oversized fit, you can definitely style it in different ways. You can do a front knot tie since it is longer, or you can easily tuck this in, or leave it out (the length is great for leggings!) This will partner well with a cute vest or blazer as well heading into Fall. And because it is an oversized fit, I would recommend going true to size or sizing down if you want a more fitted look. You can grab this super comfy, brushed cotton flannel here:

Top Pick #2: Women's Plaid Long Sleeve Button-Down Shirt - Universal Thread™

When I had the chance to be in a Target store in person about a month ago, I was drawn to their new Universal Thread Plaid Button Downs since the patterns are great for Fall. The particular pattern that I was really drawn to was the Blue Plaid version because it will be a magnificent pairing with all sorts of denim this Fall. You don't often come across a blue and white flannel pattern, and if I can going to pick up a flannel, I want it to be unique! In my opinion, I think the coloration is what sets it apart and makes it a top pick of mine.

This particular flannel is made of a comfy cotton rayon blend that is super wearable and breathable. It is one of those fabrics that isn't too thick or thin, but is just right. It does fit true to size and I am definitely happy with that sizing, but if you like your flannels to be on the looser, flowy side, then I would consider going up a size in this one.

I can already picture throwing on a great pair of denim, along with either some tall black or brown boots, and wearing this cute top for all sorts of fun Fall activities. I would even accessorize this top with a classy pair of pearl earrings and a cute delicate necklace to give this is bit of a feminine, dressier look! Versatile and a wardrobe staple for years to come:

Top Pick #3: Old Navy Oversized Flannel Shirt for Women

Much like my first pick, this top is another Old Navy classic! This top is for anyone who loves a good burnt orange/deep mustard top in their wardrobe for the Fall months - I just look at it and think "Pumpkin Spice"!

The classic Fall color of this top is what first drew me in, but I also love that it has white and blackish blue stripes that make it so darn easy to pair with lots of wardrobe staples. For example, you could pair this still with white denim (you don't have to stop wearing white after Labor Day!) and it would look SO chic! Or, you could easily pair this with black trousers and head to the office. Or, you could throw on some cute traditional blue denim, or a denim skirt and booties and it would bring out the blue tones. Let's not forget about just a simple pair of leggings, either - they would look great with this, and since it is a longer fit, this top covers your rear :)

For all of you who prefer neutral colors for your wardrobe staples, a shirt like this is an easy way to sneak a little color into your wardrobe. The shade of this flannel works nicely with a large variety of skin tones, and will look good for everything from days spent at the apple orchard to nights around the bonfire to even office Zooms! Though an oversized fit, I suggest going true to size - or sizing down if you want more of a fitted look.

When browsing, don't let the name fool you - as mentioned above, this is more of a deep mustard/burnt orange tone than a yellow plaid, which the website lists it as:
