Top Pick Tuesday - featuring favorite work out leggings!

Happy Tuesday! Hope your week - and new year - is off to a wonderful start. I mentioned last week that I wanted to feature some of my favorite finds that incorporate health and wellness this month in Top Pick Tuesday. This week, I am going to be featuring three of my favorite affordable leggings that I like to work out in. I do think that finding leggings that you actually like to work out in makes you more likely to actually do the work outs ;), so I am excited to share these with you this week - they are all leggings that I personally own and endorse!

Top Pick #1: G4Free High Waist Yoga Leggings with Pockets

Hands down, these are the best leggings that I have ever purchased off of Amazon. Even better, you can get them for $20 or under, depending on which color you are interested in!

I grabbed my first pair of these in staple black several months ago after they kept popping up in my newsfeed. They came highly reviewed, but I was still a little skeptical because I wasn't sure that leggings under $20 would be able to live up to all of the hype - however, I immediately found these to be as awesome as everyone said they would be!

The first feature (of many!) that I love is that they are a little thicker legging, so they aren't see through at all, meaning that you can easily wear these outside of your home. Plus, they hold you in where you want to be held in - but aren't too tight. They also keep you held in nicely while working out, and the waistband NEVER rolls out! I wear these on the treadmill all the time for running or walking, and have worn them on many hikes that my family has taken, and these have never once rolled down on me. I also have to mention that they have pockets which fit my iPhone Plus, so that definitely comes in handy!

While these are perfect for working out in, I wear these around the house all the time and even sleep in them sometimes since they are really comfy and not restrictive at all. Definitely a great pair of leggings that I highly recommend! I suggest going true to size - you can find all options of these fantastic leggings here: https://amzn.to/3oDmwyJ.

Top Pick #2: High-Waisted Elevate 7/8-Length Leggings for Women

I kept seeing fellow bloggers raving about these leggings awhile back, so I finally had to grab a pair to check them out for myself. I'm definitely glad that I did because I am a HUGE fan! With almost 500 Five Star Reviews at Old Navy, you know they must be good!

I do want to first mention that there are some great patterns available in these leggings, including the new Houndstooth pattern that just launched (which I will be grabbing!) Prints like those available are just fun to wear, and definitely mix up your wardrobe with a little flair since you can style them just as easily with a cute sweater as you can a work out tank.

Not only are these cute, but the fit is fantastic as well. The length is great, and this pair of leggings has a slight compression to it that holds you in nicely without being uncomfortable - I find these to be slimming and flattering. The material definitely has stretch to it, so it makes these easy to work out in. I don't find them to roll down when I am working out, and I like lounging in these just as much as I like working out in them because they are comfy.

I find these to fit true to size, but if you are between sizes, I would probably size up for a little extra room. I do want to mention that these do not have pockets on them, but since they are a style that you can easily dress up more for everyday wear, I don't think you would personally want pockets on these since it would look a little strange set against the patterns. Top Pick #3: Women's All in Motion Contour Flex High-Waisted 7/8 Leggings

If you're looking for a lightweight, flexible legging that is perfect for activities like Pilates, barre, dance, or yoga, these are a top recommendation. A couple of the best features that make these great for those types of activities are that they are made of a moisture wicking fabric that will keep you dry, and they have flat seams that won't get in the way of movement.

These are definitely a wonderful and multi-functional pair of black leggings to have in your wardrobe. While they were made specifically for movement and work outs, they are perfect for lounging in as well because they are soft and stretchy. Like both of the prior leggings that I shared, these hold you in place well without being uncomfortable. This pair of leggings features a high waistband that stays in place when you are moving around, so that isn't an issue with these leggings at all.

The fabric on the All in Motion Contour Flex Leggings is a touch thicker (like the first pair of leggings I shared), so they keep you warm in a good way. No matter your body type, I also find the fabric to be accommodating and flattering - I really like that Target offers these in sizes XS-4X.
