Top Pick Tuesday - Snuggly Sherpas!

Happy Tuesday!! Cooler weather has definitely arrived where I live, and the crisp and rainy weather this week has made me just want to snuggle up in my cozy sherpas. I am a HUGE sherpa fan - and if you are as well, you know that sherpas are NOT created equal! This week for Top Pick Tuesday, I am bringing you my favorite sherpas that I believe are worth investing in since these three are stylish, they will NOT make you look like a linebacker (some sherpas have that ability :)), and they are all made with quality sherpa fabrics!

Top Pick #1: PRETTYGARDEN Women’s Long Sleeve Pullover Sherpa Fleece Sweatshirt

First off, I love the fun print of this sherpa, and that was what drew me to it initially. I have done a feature on my blog before where I shared the sweatshirt version of this top, and the sherpa version is just as good. Camo is really considered a neutral now, and it is very tastefully done in this top. Camo is also perfect as we head into Fall! And for all of the leopard fans out there, this top is also available from this retailer in several different leopard prints. The main difference between the two prints is that in the camo version, the camo print is only on the front - and the back is a solid color, whereas with the leopard version, the leopard print is on both the front and back of the top.

Despite the print that you choose, the fabrication of the camo and leopard versions is the same - it is a super soft poly spandex blend. The soft material is on both the inside and outside, so this top will keep you nice and snuggly all day long! When I am wearing mine, my kiddos tell me that I feel like a teddy bear that they want to snuggle with!

This sherpa definitely has a casual look to it, so this top is perfect for lounging around the house, running errands, or a fun day enjoying all the Fall activities. I am 5'6" and this top covers most of my rear, so it makes it perfect for pairing with leggings, though I pair it with jeans and joggers as well for full on comfort. The kangaroo pocket on the front also comes in handy for times when you may want kleenex, hand sanitizer, sunglasses, keys, wipes, etc.

This top does run true to size, but I tend to recommend sizing up one in this if you are looking for a looser fit, especially if you want to be able to layer under this as the weather gets colder. You can check out the options here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XQZKXMD/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B07XQZKXMD&linkCode=as2&tag=lifestyledbyj-20&linkId=09a9a98873c782f325f70ff4c675a8e6.

Top Pick #2: For G and PL Women's Long Sleeve Full Zip Fleece Jacket

Friends, I am obsessed with this sherpa. It isn't super fancy or trendy - but it is practical, super duper soft, and you will get SO much use out of this one. One of the main reasons that I love this top is because it is a full zip sherpa, which is near impossible to come by. The majority of sherpas that you find are pullovers, but with this being a full zip sherpa, it is such an easy layering piece. I am a cardigan fanatic, and this particular top combines both my love of sherpa and my love of cardigans together. It also has pockets, so I find myself reaching for this all the time when the weather is cooler because it just checks all of the boxes for me.

I also love that this top is available is such great neutral colors. You simply cannot go wrong with whichever of the seven options that you choose. All of these options are super easy to pair with a multitude of tops, and I even think this is one that you could wear to the office over a button down or blouse on those cooler days when you want to be warm AND cozy.

I mentioned this already, but this sherpa is super comfortable. It is a 100% polyester fabrication, and will keep you nice and warm. It does run true to size, but if you think that you would want to layer thicker tops underneath, then I would size up for a looser fit.

This truly is one of the best essentials that you can grab - it will become a wardrobe staple for years to come. Top Pick #3: Women's Faux Fur Casual Loose Pullover

It makes me giggle a little that this has "faux fur" in the name, since it is - in fact - a sherpa material! This super chic top is so soft and snuggly just like faux fur, and you will feel like you are wrapped up in warmth when you have this top on! :)

The pattern is what caught my eye when I originally grabbed this top last year. The chevron pattern gives this such a fun retro look, and the color options available are super trendy. This sherpa has an all around unique and more feminine vibe to it than your average sherpa. Though casual, you can style this in a variety of ways as well! Whether paired with leggings and sneakers, or jeans and cute boots, you will feel instantly pulled together when you put this on!

This particular sherpa is a cotton poly blend. Super snuggly, and will keep you quite warm, though the fabric is still breathable. When I have mine on, it instantly takes away that chill that you can get so easily when the weather starts to change in the Fall. The bottom does have an elastic band, so it can almost have a tucked look if you want it to, or you can leave it as is. The side pockets are a nice touch as well - they are small, but still allow you to keep some essentials with you!

I do recommend going true to size in this one since it is roomy. However, if you are taller, I would consider sizing up one for more arm length and overall length. You can find this plush top here:

Quick side note to share: make sure to follow washing instructions on sherpas when you buy them since you want them to maintain their softness and fullness. For my sherpas, I typically always wash them on a delicate cycle and then I hang dry to maintain the softness and original fabrication!
