Top Pick Tuesday - Target Staples Edition!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! As I was thinking about what I wanted to feature this week, I realized that I had yet to share with you a few of the fantastic new items that I picked up at Target back in early March in store. The items that I have to share are such easy staple pieces, and will be so perfect for the warmer months coming up (and all are available to ship to you right now)!

Top Pick #1: A New Day Women's Tank Dress

This first item is something that I saw from far away while walking down an aisle and it called to me! Though this dress comes in several shades, the blue of this dress caught my eye from far away and I HAD to see what this item was!

As soon as I took it off the rack, I was sold! I am all in for good staple tank dresses in the summer, and this one has a fantastic silhouette. The fabric is cut nicely so it is flattering (trust me, many tank dresses on the market are NOT!), plus the cotton fabric is loose and flowy so it won't cling at all. And, one of my very favorite features of this dress is the length - it hits right above the knee, which is hard to find in tank dresses. I like to be able to wear dresses like this all summer long, but since I tend to be playing with my kids outside during the warm months, I don't want to have to worry about bending over and showing off things...many tank dresses are short, and this one is NOT so it gets my full endorsement!

As I mentioned, it does come in several easy to wear colors, though I had to go with the stunning blue shade that almost looks like a sapphire in person. At only $15, this is a dress that is easily worth the price. I would make sure that you go according to the size chart - I tried on both a Medium and Large, and went with the Medium because I like the way it fit better. The Medium is an 8/10, which is typically what I am!

Top Pick #2: Grayson Threads Mama Needs Wine Graphic Tank Top

I have shared my love for the brand, Grayson Threads, with you before, and they recently released a new tank top that I think every mama in the country needs right now :) I picked this up right away when I saw it, and simply put, you need it! Here's why:

- It's black, and who can't always use some black tanks in their wardrobe?!

- The message is on point

- It is cute and oh so comfy

I would recommend going true to size or sizing up in this one if you like your tanks looser like me. I went with a Large in this one and am so glad I did! Perfect tank for lounging around the house AND the warmer months to come!

Top Pick #3: Universal Thread Women's Mid-Rise Tie Front Utility Shorts

First off, I am typically NOT a shorts person. I just haven't been for years - I tend to gravitate to other options like skirts, dresses, rompers, cropped pants, etc. in warmer months. But, I feel like retailers have stepped up their game in recent years and realized that not all ladies want to wear the short shorts....or frumpy shorts....

That said, I have found myself at least browsing for shorts the past couple of years to find options that I would feel comfortable wearing. Truly, my issue with shorts is that they need to be full coverage, yet not look like the shorts of the 80s/90s (you get what I mean, right?!) So, when I found this pair at Target, I was rather excited!

On top of these being super cute, which is my first qualification, the fabric is amazing! It is super lightweight and breathable, plus the tie waist allows you to adjust how tight you wear them. The cuff on these also makes them look a little dressier, so I feel like you can easily dress these up with a cute sandal and blouse, or wear them with your favorite pair of sneakers and tank!
